Weeknotes #12
Doing:
- I went to the Pride Fairday, which is always one of the highlights of my calendar. It's great to see people being out and fully themselves, and to be celebrated for who they are. Plus, the weather was also lovely to match.
- I also attended the Pride Picnic, which was a smaller event but also had similarly lovely vibes. I attended this as part of presenting Aria: Song Unseen, supported by the City of Vincent. As for the work itself...it feels like a gallery/indoor space is better than the outdoors, because the nuances of the work gets lost in a space where there's a lot of additional visual and aural elements.
Playing:
- Recently hopped onto Project Rubi-Ka, an emulator for Anarchy Online. It's a way of preserving the game in case Funcom, the developer, kills it, which might not be too far. I'm honestly surprised that Funcom has still kept the servers running.
